About
Hi, I'm Britt — the maker behind Camp NEL.
Camp NEL is a family-centered creative studio where handmade craftsmanship, imagination, learning, and play come together. It's named for my three children — Natalia, Esbi, and Lutalo — who inspire nearly everything I make.
Made between real life
By day, I work full time as a Lead Business Analyst and Product Owner. I also homeschool all three of my kids. Camp NEL happens in the moments in between: early mornings, late nights, and weekends at the sewing machine or the clay table, often with little helpers nearby.
That's exactly why every piece is made with intention. When time is precious, you only make things that matter.
What I make
Thoughtfully designed clothing, costumes, handmade clay sculptures, keepsakes, and playful pieces for kids and families. Many are made in small batches or as one-of-a-kind pieces from limited fabric, so no two are exactly alike.
I believe beautiful objects can spark curiosity, encourage meaningful conversations, and become part of everyday family life. My work is intentionally slow, handmade whenever possible, and created to be treasured rather than replaced.
Where we're headed
As Camp NEL grows, I hope to build a welcoming creative community through learning resources, workshops, maker markets, and experiences that inspire both children and adults to keep exploring, creating, and imagining together.
Camp NEL isn't simply a shop. It's a place where creativity is nurtured, stories are shared, and everyday moments become lasting memories.
Thank you for being here and for supporting a small, handmade, family-run business. It truly means the world to us.
